Where it all began

Founded in 1937 by Rose Blumkin in the basement of a pawn shop, Nebraska Furniture Mart and "Mrs. B" followed one basic rule. "Sell cheap and tell the truth." This simple motto has been the cornerstone sales philosophy of Mrs. B and the Blumkin family for over 60 years. This basic philosophy has lead Nebraska Furniture Mart to over 60 years of uninterrupted sales growth and has withstood the test of time to evolve Nebraska Furniture Mart into the nation’s single largest home furnishings store.

Nebraska Furniture Mart sits on a 75-acre campus in the heart of Omaha, Nebraska. Showrooms on the campus exceed 392,000 square feet and warehousing space of 750,000 square feet. Nebraska Furniture Mart employs over 1,500 staff throughout this large campus.
